How do I use a converter?

Enter a value, choose the source unit, choose the destination unit, and the result updates automatically. Use the swap button to reverse the direction.

Why do some results contain many decimal places?

Some unit relationships produce repeating or irrational decimals. The calculator keeps useful numerical precision, while displayed values may be rounded.

Are US and Imperial units the same?

No. For example, a US liquid gallon and an Imperial gallon are different sizes. We label those variants explicitly.

What does “month” mean in the time converter?

The generic month entry is explicitly defined as 30 days. Calendar months vary from 28 to 31 days and cannot be represented by one fixed conversion factor.

I found something that looks wrong

When reporting a possible issue, include the converter name, source unit, destination unit, input value, and the result you expected. That makes the conversion easy to reproduce and verify.
